GEELONG wins 2007 AFL Grand Final.

September 26

Some 'evolutionary' changes to the sidebar. Some... additions, deletions, re-organising.

September 23

The AFL Grand Final is nigh. I have to wonder if the Geelomg side can continue and be triumphant next week. So far, all the finals games have gone the way I predicted. The final step is for Geelong to beat Port Adelaide - easily....

It has been many years since I worked part time at the Geelong Football Social Club, either in one of the bars, or in the restaurant on a drink tray.

I remember being trained in 'old school' drink waitering by one of the best. "Silver" from the Southern Cross Hotel in Melbourne (back when it was one of 'the' hotels to go to!).

Two things I cannot do.... 1) Reach my scapula with my left hand, and 2) Raise my left hand above my head.

Neer's test for impingement of the rotator cuff tendons under the coracoacromial arch. The arm is fully pronated and placed in forced flexion.

Medical/Shoulder: I had an Arthrogram, and distension and hydro irrigation of the shoulder, then Cortizone.

Hopefully, after a few days, I will be able to 'scratch my nose' with my left hand. :)

Facebook is one of the latest Internet crazes', this is my first real look at it. Thanks to Kelli. :)

Technical Study Status. This is a summary of what I like about this page.

September 16

Example Page: Here, is an example of a number of 'techniques', Page re-instatement. Moving to so many trial host companies sees me forget sections sometimes, and leave them behind somewhat. Then, one day, often without prior planning, I find them, remember them, and re-instate them. This page is an example: The page migration is NOT COMPLETE and is missing some graphics until I finish the move. It does work and is based on 'CSS Frame Emulation'.

HOME OFFICE / Review: The results of a 'review' went very well. There are plans afoot to address, or further improve, various services and facilities.

some random doodling...

A way to deal with it.... with Life's Loss(es), with change, often unplanned and unexpected.

Flick it. "Find a way you can deal with inevitable loss. Sometimes there are things you just cannot change. Once it is clear there is nothing you can do, accept the loss.... 'flick it'"

FL i CK IT!

TRICK IT

Accept the loss, find another way to achieve the same goal. Say goodbye to the old way, and adopt the new.

Trick it - find another way.

Often there are other ways to achieve whatever it is that you need to do, if there is an ability you have lost, do your best to 'Trick It' and find another way.... an alternative.

Stick It

Hang in....

Laugh off the Loss, and continue to find alternative methods.

Wheelchair Repair.

..

Ready to Race.

My Frontier wheelchair was 'serviced' this morning.

Two new batteries were installed.

The guy said that usually Electric Wheelchairs had a 24 Amp. Battery

Mine has 2 x 70 Amp. batteries! He couldn't believe that these were his 'vendor instructions', he installed two new batteries as requested. It appears to be fully charged, and it certainly has had the acceleration upgraded! :)

wow - it is on charge now and being topped up, he said that the first charge was really important.

It should go much longer distances once charged, which makes me feel more comfortable if I am going out. This morning after an all night charge it only lasted one trip to the dining room for me to notice degradation.

Return to the void.

My new 'digs' are further organised and I have returned to the web. I have changed my 'living arrangements', into a Residential Care Facility. The benefits are many, and include: two 'professionally catered' meals every day, access to breakfast(s), single suite, room for desk, PC, ADSL now installed, TV's etc. seperate full en-suite bathroom. Access to free Maxi Van transport, regular activities, large screen plasma TV, etc.. Really nice staff.

I am now developing a page/'web site' update to go live soon.
